As parents in general, and mums specifically, you always want to find ways to bond with your children. No matter what their age, there are interesting activities you can do together. That’s why today we’re looking at some pottery classes in Singapore.
To clarify, pottery is a soothing activity that trains a child’s aesthetic sensitivities and their motor skills too. As parents, you’ll benefit from them too.
There are many pottery studios in Singapore. However, we’re looking specifically at those that cater to families and are child friendly.
Here’s where you can start booking a pottery session.
Studio Asobi
Studio Asobi welcomes both children and adults into their relaxing, one day classes. You’ll be able to book a three hour long sessions that welcomes children, but they have to be accompanied by an adult. Each student will be crafting his or her own clay vessel, and classes are kept small to a maximum of six people.
This is a home studio, so you can expect the atmosphere to be welcoming and cosy. Class fees are $95 per pax, including the costs of materials, glaze and firing. Your clay vessel will have to be collected after 3-4 weeks, within which time it will be dried and go through two rounds of firing.
