Government polyclinics and private clinics make up the primary healthcare in Singapore. While making up only 20% of the primary healthcare, polyclinics provide subsidised outpatient medical care, health screening, and pharmacy services.

Some polyclinics offer dental services as well.

As of mid-2021, there are 20 polyclinics that can be found throughout the island and these are managed by three primary arms of the public healthcare clusters. They are National Healthcare Group (NHG), Singapore Health Services (SingHealth), and the latest one being National University Polyclinics (NUP).
