Sexuality is fluid. Whether you’re gay, you’re straight, or if you’re bisexual, you just go with the flow. This article which I am going to talk about today isn’t about the right to adopt, political rightness, gay rights or parenting. It is about children’s chance for a family. There has been an increase in rising in the number of gays and lesbians forming their own families through foster care, adoption and artificial insemination. Artificial insemination is when they insert sperm directly into a woman's cervix, fallopian tubes, or uterus. According to research, there are approximately 10 million children worldwide who are living with gay parents. Also, there is in fact not a single study that was found where these children are found to be a disadvantage because of their parents’ sexual orientation. Here are also some evidence that states why lesbians and gays are fit to be parents. Children of LGBT parents are likely to be less intelligent and have lower self-esteem compared to children of heterosexuals. Sexual orientation does not influence the definition of good parenting. Good parenting is a parent’s ability to create a loving and nurturing home. In the year 2008, a study was shown that children who are raised by same-sex parents will and had experienced some form of harassment at school. But despite that, Australian research has shown that children of same-sex parents don’t encounter any intense bully. They also have excellent social skills and peer relationships. Some people think drinking and gambling are sinful and some believe that having no religion is immoral. To me, what I believe is that leaving children alone without love, care, nurture and home is immoral. These children deserve someone who cares for them when no one does. And this is what gays and lesbians are able to do. They are able to provide them with a home that they longed for. For me, I love having gay friends. They are actually the best people to be friends with. They are really friendly and are one of a kind. From what I have read, kids with gay parents are living in a more loving and nurturing household, and they are one of the best humans to be out in the world.
